TP Human Capital are currently recruiting for the position of BID CO-ORDINATOR / TENDER WRITER on behalf of a leading multi skilled consulting firm, based in Townsville. Our client operates within Australia and overseas in PNG and with plans to expand the business operations in the Pacific there is a requirement for an experienced BID CO-ORDINATOR / TENDER WRITER to join the business on a permanent basis.
Providing comprehensive end to end services for infrastructure development within the building and construction industry this is a pivotal role in assisting the development and growth of this organisation. As a BID CO-ORDINATOR / TENDER WRITER, the objective of your role is to help identify, manage, write and win design / planning / project and contract management contracts from, the private sector, all levels of Governments and International Aid Agencies. Your duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Tracking tenders and online funding opportunities from a range of sources.
- Screening tender requirements on selective relevant opportunities, reviewing and extracting key information.
- Monitoring forecasted opportunities.
- Preparing and submitting proposals (tenders, grant applications, expressions of interest) and budgets in cooperation with internal team as well as external partners and suppliers.
- Coordinating the bidding process and preparing bid templates.
- Engage with internal team including designers, planners and project managers to validate approach, design and pricing assumptions, budget preparation and work plans.
- Reconcile pricing rates with previous pricing for existing clients.
- Set up and maintain all credentials and compliance documents for use in proposals.
- Develop and maintain company pricing models and company / client rate cards.
To be considered for this exciting role in this strong growth period, you will require:
- Background in planning, building design, construction or related industry . (ESSENTIAL)
- Strong systems knowledge and experience.
- Sound verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work within a team in an open plan office environment.
