TP Human Capital is partnering with a government client in Townsville (On-Site role) to fill the position of a proficient business administration professional. This individual will provide comprehensive support in strategic risk management, fraud control, and internal audit functions. The Governance Committee Coordinator will play a pivotal role in coordinating administrative and secretariat services for various bodies and committees. The contract for this position lasts till August 2024 with the possibility of extension.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional committee and secretariat services to ensure timely administration, adhering to best practice processes and protocols.
  • Prepare and disseminate meeting agendas, minutes, reports, and briefs with precision and timeliness.
  • Offer administrative and project support, including procurement, contract management, and maintaining electronic records.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with committee members, facilitating meetings, and coordinating logistics.
  • Collaborate closely with the Strategic team, fostering Agile ways of working and contributing to section projects and functions.

 
Ideal Profile:

  • A seasoned business administration professional with a proven track record in secretariat operations.
  • Proficiency in crafting high-quality committee materials and ensuring prompt follow-up on actions.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Resourceful, organized, and proactive in problem-solving within a dynamic environment.
  • Comfortable exercising sound judgement, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Flexible and adaptable to varying work conditions and supportive of team needs.

 
Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in public sector administration, particularly in committee and secretariat processes.


Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in project and administration.
  • Qualifications in business and/or administration.
  • Willingness to travel, occasionally for extended periods.
