IT Service Support Officer
 
TP Human Capital is currently recruiting for an experienced IT Service Support Officer for our client based in Townsville. 

This is a causal position within Local Government, Monday to Friday 38-hour week. This role is 3months with a high likelihood of becoming a permanent position. Our client is looking for and enthusiastic, customer service focused individual with excellent administrative and problem-solving skills.
 
Principal Accountabilities include:

  • Providing effective professional 1st level and some 2nd level IT support.
  • Managing all request types (incident, problem, requests) end-to-end following standard ITIL processes.
  • Providing technical troubleshooting and resolution of complex problems using investigative techniques.
  • Educating customers; and providing timely escalation where required / appropriate.
  • Ensure quality customer outcomes and relationships.

 
Coupled with a strong attention to detail, you will also process the following:

  • Great Communications skills.
  • Immediate availabilty
  • Friendly and well presented.
  • Result orientated and effective working within a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment and be flexible
  • Time management and the ability to prioritise workload
