Safety and Compliance Officer

TP Human Capital is seeking a Safety and Compliance Officer to ensure adherence to safety laws and regulations, conduct risk assessments, and foster a culture of safety. The ideal candidate will proactively manage workplace hazards, provide training, and investigate incidents to maintain a safe environment for staff and stakeholders.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Maintain compliance with safety laws and company policies.
  • Identify and mitigate workplace hazards through risk assessments.
  • Develop and implement safety training programs.
  • Conduct incident investigations and report findings.
  • Promote safety awareness and a positive safety culture.
  • Continuously improve safety protocols and measures.

 
Requirements:

  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety.
  • Certification in training, risk management, or quality auditing.
  • Experience in safety and compliance leadership.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry practices.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and online safety systems.
