Room Hire Exam weekend – Feb 2016

Another busy weekend for our Room Hire services. 14 students (each group) sitting lengthy University level exams on Saturday and Sunday. With our clients specific requirements for space required per participant, this meant we had to use 3 of our large rooms. The project also required 4 exam invigilators working from 7am to 6pm.

We haven’t had to use the Hayman Room for a long time as it’s been booked out for a long term hire (Office Sublease – Serviced Office) for over 12 months, so it was good to have the extra space available for these exams.

Our client couriered 14 computers to our offices with their secure software pre-loaded, however we always have 20 of our own laptops available if there are issues. After the storms on Friday night we lost our internet connection Saturday morning, fortunately quick thinking staff got things going again in time for the exams. Proving it’s always good to come in early 🙂

It takes one of our awesome team Felicity almost a whole day to set-up and a day pack-down to setup everything to our clients specific requirements.

Most people wouldn’t be aware of our Room Hire services, however our rooms aren’t always being used by us, so for over 10 years we’ve made our rooms and resources available for clients. Used from everything for Training Rooms, meeting rooms, Interview Rooms, Assessments, Exam rooms, Brainstorming sessions, Invigilation of exams, providing Invigilators, etc.

Today we’ve got one person sitting an external University exam and we are providing an Invigilator.  This is a popular service and is only $198 for half day.  After hours is also available.

Hayman Room Exam Configuration

Many of our clients with offices located in Townsville have their own meeting rooms, however prefer to get out of the office away from potential interruptions and their staff free from feeling connected to their office/work. This can be great for brainstorming or Strategy meetings or confidentiality.

Our rooms can be booked by the hour, half-day, full-day or longer. from 1 to 40 people in different configurations.

PLUS we are close to the BEST COFFEE cafes in Townsville, 50 metres walk from the Strand and FREE PARKING. Makes it easy.
