This year, Loan Market Townsville City has joined forces with event organiser, TP Human Capital, with the ambition to bring the community together for a good cause. Loan Market business owner, Phil Rogers said he’s thrilled to be an official partner this year.

“We’ve supported the drive over the past two years and I’m proud to be involved this year in an even greater capacity. Our team shares a passion for animals and we’re hoping we can make a difference this Christmas – so much so that whatever the weight of food donated by the community is, we’ll go out and match it,” Phil explains.

The RSPCA appeal will run in Townsville from 17 November to 18 December and the community is encouraged to bring a donation of dog or cat food into the Loan Market or TP Human Capital offices, and it will be then be doubled and delivered to the RSPCA centre.

Director or TP Human Capital, and founder of the Christmas drive, Clayton Cook said he’s hoping for the best result yet.

“With the added help of Loan Market, we’re aiming to beat our previous record of 2000 kgs. We’ve seen donations grow with each year that passes and I’m delighted to have a partner as committed as Loan Market to help us continue to bring some Christmas cheer to the RSPCA animal shelter in Townsville,” Clayton said.

We encourage Businesses to get involved as a team building activity for staff and an opportunity for some promotion on the Facebook page (2700 likes).  You can deliver to TP offices in North Ward or the Loan Market offices in the CBD.  Or we can organise pick up from your offices.  Some businesses set up a christmas display in their reception and encourage staff and clients to drop off pet food.  You are welcome to use a flyer with your own logo if you like – see example below.  You can replace the Livinghere logo with your own or we can do for you.  It’s easy, just send your logo to courtneyn@tphc.info and we’ll send you a flyer to use straight back 🙂
